Let's talk about how you can have a healthier career

It’s easy to say, “Next month will be better.”
“Next month, I’ll have time to focus on my goals.” Knowing there’s a good chance you’ll say exactly the same next month…

Unless you create a change.

As an established leader, you have a lot to offer.

Yet you don't have time to focus on what will improve your career and life. This is creating tensions right now.

I'm here to guide established leaders from "wanting the change" to getting the change.

You'll need more than that to evolve in the next five years. You can be more successful in reaching your goals by...

  • Taking action. And that requires more than ownership. You take ownership every day in your company. But what about your goals? They are pushed away. That's why being fed up with hearing yourself say, "I'll change," is a good sign.

  • Getting the external feedback.  To help you regain the perspective which you're missing right now. That's why the best growth comes from external help. We are not wired to identify what will make a difference.

  • being right alongside you to reach your goals: you're busy, and it's hard to be intentional about working on immediate and long-term solutions, when you're handling emergencies, and are the person who's ultimately accountable for your team.

Here are ways to work with me one-on-one:

  1. What's the one-on-one like?
Simple, fast and magical solutions do not exist.
I start with understanding where you're at and what you want, and for you to see progress, at the end of the first sessions, you already have 1 or 2 practical tips for implementing/trying out.

We'll identify the one or two areas you should start working on to see progress. When I work with clients, we determine where they are today, define where we want to go, map a plan, and implement it.
Then, we adapt the strategy based on the reactions from their entourage and our bigger mid-term target.

  2. Typically, how long do clients sign up for?
Six weeks to 3 months, depending on the targets they have.

  3. What results can I expect?
You get what you put in. When clients come in, they are driven for results and were selected for interesting roles,  resurface after a burnout, regain cohesion within their team,

  4. What type of clients do you work with?
Senior leaders in all industries, from pharmaceutical to finance and legal in F100, to senior consultancy and start-ups.
The common denominator is the will to take action and openness to receive external feedback.

Laurence Methot

Ph.D., Certified Professional Coach

After my PhD, I decided I wanted things to move fast - and left University for the business world - hurray for the Canadian flexibility, which allowed me to switch from one branch to another.

Over the last 22 years, I worked with people in 70 countries and 5 continents.

Success at work required that I gain the trust of established leaders and their teams across the world. I also had to develop my curiosity, openness and flexibility.

This helped me guide leaders since 2008:

  • navigate through acquisitions and mergers

  • evolve from a country specific role to a global role

  • recover after burnout find a new role

  • return after a maternity leave

  • give workshops for EMBAs and their graduates (INSEAD; EPFL EMBA Lausanne)

  • lead workshops for Global Leadership Teams

Which is why you're going to have genuine, international and creative insights!

The most successful leaders never go it alone
